As a WordPress Developer, you are responsible for designing and developing custom WordPress Themes, Custom WordPress Posts and Custom Plugins etc. You’ll work with design teams to ensure that user interactions on web pages are intuitive and engaging. You are also required to provide back-end functionality that are scalable and can run smoothly from any device or browser type commonly used today.
As WordPress Developer, your role will involve:
Work with development teams and product managers to upload new pages to our company's WordPress website.
Keep our company WordPress Sites up to date with modern designs
Responsible for building and maintaining client's websites built on WordPress.
Measure and report traffic to our sites & client sites.
Work with our digital marketing team to optimise our website and blogs for more conversions.
Update our WordPress sites with new home page designs.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade our sites. Regular security checks and upgrades on our sites and our client's websites
Manage integrations with third-party APIs, plugins, and CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow.
Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
Knows how to work with WordPress.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality website solutions. Updates & Security: Regularly update WordPress core, plugins, and themes, ensuring sites are secure and up to date.

- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex web development projects with cross-functional teams.
- Motivated to learn and keep updated with technology, techniques and algorithm changes
- Ability to work under pressure and to deliver projects based on timeline.
Technical Abilities
- Expertise in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
- Strong knowledge of PHP is a huge plus.
- Familiarity with website performance optimization and debugging tools.
- Experience with popular page builders like DiVi, Elementor.
Experience
- 1+ year’s experience in a similar role
